Yukon, deal #9
testingThis Yukon deal is rated testing: one of the harder deals in this series. The solver found a winning line of 40 moves.
Notes on this deal
- 1 Ace lies uncovered at the end of a column, ready to go home with your first move.
- One Ace is buried four or more cards deep: column 7 holds it under 10 cards. Dig there early.
- A King already sits at the head of a column, so that column never needs emptying.
- 2 Kings are face down. Buried Kings can only leave for an empty column; plan for the space they will need.
- A test play that always takes the most promising move wins this one outright. A relaxed deal.
- 6 useful moves are open from the start. Prefer the ones that turn over a card or free an Ace.

Yukon in a nutshell
There is no stock. Build the foundations by suit and the columns down in alternating colours; any face-up card moves with everything on top of it. Only Kings go into empty columns.
