About the parlour

Patience Parlour is a small independent website with seven classic patience games, free to play in English, Italian, Hungarian and Finnish. It was made for the quiet pleasure of a game of patience: a green table, a good shuffle and no distractions.

How it is made

The cards are drawn in code, not loaded as pictures, so the table opens quickly even on a slow connection. The rules of every game are written out in full on its page, and the same rules run the table.

The numbered deals come from a computer solver that plays with every card visible. It won each checked deal before the deal was accepted, and its winning line was replayed move by move to make sure. The numbers you see on the deal pages, such as the length of the winning line or how far a simple test play got, come from those runs.

What we keep and what we do not

Your games, statistics and streaks are stored in your own browser and nowhere else. There is no sign-up and no tracking. The privacy page has the details.
