Klondike (draw 1), deal #15
testingThis Klondike deal is rated testing: one of the harder deals in this series. The solver found a winning line of 137 moves.
Notes on this deal
- 1 Ace lies uncovered at the end of a column, ready to go home with your first move.
- One Ace is buried four or more cards deep: column 7 holds it under 6 cards. Dig there early.
- 2 Kings already sit at the head of their columns, so those columns never need emptying.
- 2 Kings are face down. Buried Kings can only leave for an empty column; plan for the space they will need.
- This deal punishes autopilot. A test play of the obvious moves gets just 9 of 52 cards home before it is stuck.
- The solver's line turns the stock 93 times.
