Yukon, deal #6
steadyDeal #6 is a middling deal for this series. Our solver won it in a line of 44 moves, so it can certainly be won.
Notes on this deal
- 1 Ace lies uncovered at the end of a column, ready to go home with your first move.
- 2 Aces sit deep in their columns. The worst is in column 5, with 8 cards on top of it.
- 2 Kings are face down. Buried Kings can only leave for an empty column; plan for the space they will need.
- Playing without a plan stalls early here: a test play of the most promising moves gets only 2 of 52 cards home.
- 10 useful moves are open from the start. Prefer the ones that turn over a card or free an Ace.
- At one point the solver moves a run of 16 cards in one go.

Yukon in a nutshell
There is no stock. Build the foundations by suit and the columns down in alternating colours; any face-up card moves with everything on top of it. Only Kings go into empty columns.
