testingRated testing, deal #15 is one of the harder deals in this series. It is winnable: the solver's line takes 99 moves.
Notes on this deal
- The base rank of this deal is 7: every foundation runs from 7 up to K, then A and on to 6.
- 2 of the 7s are locked in the reserve, so the reserve has to be worked through before those foundations can start.
- The reserve starts with 2♥ on top.
- Playing without a plan stalls early here: a test play of the most promising moves gets only 3 of 52 cards home.
- Only 0 useful moves are open at the start, so the first decision matters.
- The solver's line turns the stock 50 times.
