This deal is not checked by the solver, which cannot finish Forty Thieves deals. From its layout it is rated testing: one of the harder deals in this series.

• Playing without a plan stalls early here: a test play of the most promising moves gets only 18 of 104 cards home.
• Only 2 useful moves are open at the start, so the first decision matters.

Forty Thieves in a nutshell

Two packs. Build eight foundations by suit from Ace and the ten columns down in suit, one card at a time. Any card fills an empty column, and the stock is turned only once.
